Our history: Mercedes Alcácer

Mercedes Alcácer is a daughter and a grand-daughter of crafting ceramic artists. Since she was very young, she has always been connected to the World of Ceramic and Porcelain, but it wasn’t until 1986, she decided to jump into business.

In 1991 and 1998 she was one of the awarded with the Premios a la artesania, for craftsmanship and design by the Valencian Chamber of Commerce, and in 2000 she was given the Alfa de Oro by the President from the Spanish Association of Ceramic and Glass as ''recognition, for its artistic production''.

During the latest years, the Company has been opening new international markets and has been adapting to the newest technologies. Now, Porcelanas Mercedes has an important presence in The United States of America, France, Great Britain, and Japan in addition to Spain.We count on a staff with experience that works hard in order to run the business smoothly and to keep the Internet information updated.

Nowadays, Mercedes is still the manager of the Company but her daughter called Mercedes has come to work with her in all her projects and is keeping alive the flame of the handicraftsmen Saga. The combination of the years of work, the dynamism and the youth that Mercedes has brought to the Company, has given us the needed experience to keep giving the best services to our customers, main objective and better capital of Porcelanas Mercedes.
